Can I claim my private health insurance?

You can claim our myotherapy and remedial massage treatments through private health insurance using our HICAPs machine—just bring your private health insurance card. Alternatively, we can email you an invoice for a manual claim with your provider.

I’ve just had an injury, how soon after can I book an appointment?

Please wait for a period of at least 48 hours after sustaining an injury before coming in for an appointment. If you have any concerns about your condition, see your doctor for a check-up. This waiting period is important because it helps reduce inflammation and pain, lowering the chances of treatment making your pain worse.

Is it safe to have a pregnancy massage or myotherapy treatment in the early or late stages of my pregnancy?

Yes, pregnancy remedial massage and myotherapy are safe at all stages. We take the greatest care in taking your history and screen for reasons treatment should be avoided. For your ultimate comfort we provide a full body pregnancy cushion, where you can lay face down and feel fully supported, safe and able to enjoy your treatment.

I’ve just had my baby, when should I come in for a postpartum myotherapy or remedial appointment?

Congratulations! You can have a postpartum myotherapy or remedial massage when you feel ready to. You’re most welcome to bring your baby with you, we are a family friendly clinic. If you’ve had a Caesarean section please come in after your 6 week check up with your health care provider.

What should I wear to my appointments?

What you feel comfortable in. Light - non restrictive clothing is best.

Do you only treat pregnant and postpartum mother’s and women’s health conditions?

Absolutely not! We treat women at all life stages and all types of pain complaints, commonly musculoskeletal. We look at the whole person, and take into consideration a woman’s physical, gut and mental health and how it may affect her pain. For more information on what we treat click learn more.
